Sarah’s early training was in Asheville, NC, at the Asheville Center of Performing Arts under Nicole Kmezca Hattler. She completed her junior and senior years of high school at North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied under Warren Conover, Kee-Juan Han, Frank Smith and Christine Spizzo. She performed George Balanchine’s Serenade at the Tribute to Melissa Hayden, and at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In 2005 she performed with Ballet Adriatico in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. Sarah attended summer intensives with Miami City Ballet and North Carolina Dance Theatre. Sarah was a trainee with Dance Theatre for the 2007-2008 Season. Sarah she has performed in four world premieres by choreographer Dwight Rhoden, and has also performed in works by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Jirí Bubenícek, Mark Diamond, David Ingram, Sasha Janes and Twyla Tha
