Catch the dance stars of tomorrow in this annual benefit performance, featuring students from the North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance’s Pre-Professional Division and alumni.
Performance will include:
- Mark Diamond’s Air of Ankara
- Heather Ferranti’s Pieces of a Dream
- Excerpts from George Balanchine’s Raymonda Variations, staged by Patricia McBride
- David Morse’s Brahms Quintet
- Kathryn Moriarty’s Concerto in G
School of Dance alumni appearances:
- Caitlin Kinney, a former contestant on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, is performing a solo.
- Nadia Mara and Jesse Tyler, who dance with Atlanta Ballet, are performing a contemporary pas de deux.
- Ellen Hummel, currently with the San Francisco Ballet School, is performing a solo.
VIP Reception
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $50/adult or $25/child and include premium performance seating and a pre-performance champagne and dessert reception hosted by artistic leaders Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. Champagne reception begins at 6:15 in the Booth Playhouse lobby.
