Enchanted Learning Software’s Ballerina Marionette
Make a Ballerina Marionette. When you pull the string, the arms and legs move!
Supplies needed:

  • scissors
  • hole punch
  • 4 paper connectors
  • a needle and thread

What to do:

  • Copy the ballerina template
  • Paste the template to thin cardboard. Let it dry 
  • Cut out the parts. Punch holes where the large black dots are
  • Connect the arms and legs to the body using the paper connectors
  • Thread the needle and knot it
  • Thread the string thought the small holes in the arms – knot the ends
  • Do the same for the legs
  • Tie another string to the top of the head – make a loop to hang the marionette

With the arms and legs hanging down, tie a thread to the middle of each string. This is the PULL string that makes the arms and legs move

Festive Napkin Rings
These table toppers add merriment to every holiday meal!
Supplies needed:

  • 12 SNICKERS® Brand Nutcrackers
  • 12 small pieces of garland
  • 12 STARBURST® Candy Canes
  • 12 cloth napkins
  • 12 pieces of thin red decorative ribbon
  • 12 place cards made from colored paper

What to do:

  •    Fold each napkin into a rectangle.
  • Place a piece of garland and a STARBURST® Candy Cane on top of each napkin.
  • Place a SNICKERS® Brand Nutcracker on top of each STARBURST® Candy Cane.
  • Using a hole punch, make a small hole in one end of each place card.
  • Thread a length of ribbon through each place card.
  • Tie a length of ribbon around each of the napkins to secure the candy and place card.
  • Finish with a decorative bow.

Noel Sugarplums
Supplies needed:

  • ½ cup oleo
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • colored plain or powdered sugar for rolling the sugarplums

What to do:

  • Cream oleo in a large mixing bowl, add sugar slowly, then the whipping cream and vanilla.
  • Mix until well blended them form with your hands into small bolls and roll in the sugar.
  • Place on platter to set.
  • These sugarplums freeze quite well in an air-tight container.

Snickers® Nutcracker Cake
Supplies needed:

  • 1 package of your favorite yellow cake mix
  • 1 container white frosting
  • 1 bag "M&Ms"® Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays
  • 6 SNICKERS® Brand Nutcracker Singles

What to do:

  • Prepare cake according to package directions for rounds. This can be done in either 7 inch rounds or 8 inch rounds.
  • Frost with white frosting.
  • Decorate sides with "M&M’s"® Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays to resemble piping  on sides of drum and arrange SNICKERS® Brand Nutcracker Singles along the sides and top.

Makes 1 cake(s), about 6 – 10 servings.
