At age 14, she attended The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia for two years, which was followed by one year in the pre-professional program of BalletMet Columbus. Summers, some on merit scholarship, were spent at The Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, D.C., Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell at Cedar Islands, The School of American Ballet, The Harid Conservatory, BalletMet, Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, and Chautauqua.
