Pennsylvania (1st season)
Originally from Pennsylvania, Ian Grosh received his professional training at the Milwaukee Ballet School, as a recipient of the Peter Schetter Scholarship and also studied at the Boston Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet schools.
Grosh joined the Boston Ballet in 2001, where he danced as an apprentice for two seasons. He then joined the Milwaukee Ballet where he danced for four seasons and was also a member of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet. Grosh’s favorite roles include the male soloist in Balanchine’s Agon and Monostatos in Mark Godden’s The Magic Flute. He has been privileged to dance at the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. |
