The Summer Intensive Preparatory Workshop prepares students for the more advanced North Carolina Dance Theatre Summer Intensive Program. The comprehensive training appropriate for both male and female students focuses on development of solid technique in classical ballet, modern and jazz. Special attention is given to pointe work for the female dancer and to strength, jumps and turns for the male dancer.
The Summer Intensive Preparatory Workshop will be offered for five weeks (June 27-July 29). Students may choose to participate for three, four, or five weeks. Please indicate on your registration form which weeks you will participate.
