Required: 5 days a week
A comprehensive summer dance program that focuses on strengthening a young dancer’s technique in classical ballet, modern and jazz. NC Dance Theatre’s superb resident faculty will work closely with students in our beautiful, spacious studios. Special attention is given to pointe work, educating the young dancer about proper shoe selection, fit, care of the shoes and feet, proper alignment of the body and thera-band exercises for strength. Placement class required for students not currently enrolled at NC Dance Theatre School of Dance.

Slicked back into a tightly secured bun with no loose ends. Short hair must be slicked back and held in place with a headband or tiny ponytail. Bangs must be pinned back. No hair ornamentation. |
