School of Dance Students Receive Exclusive Discount on Performance Tickets
As an added welcome to School of Dance students, North Carolina Dance Theatre offers two subscription packages – the Matinee Magic and Deluxe Package – at the deeply discounted rate of $10 per performance.

Attending live performances is an important aspect of every student’s dance education. At live performances, students witness the culmination of their lessons from the studio, stimulating them for further learning and launching their imaginations. Our students are uniquely fortunate to be affiliated with a professional dance company that performs a range of ballets - from classical to contemporary- and we hope every family will take advantage of the opportunity to attend these performances!

Choose Your Package

Early and Children’s Division Students
The Matinee Magic subscription is ideal for students in the Early and Children’s Divisions. For as little as $23, the subscription includes tickets to two family-friendly story ballets: Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. Plus, Matinee Magic subscribers have an exclusive reception after the performances where they meet the stars of the show and take home an autographed poster.

Intermediate, Advanced, Pre-Professional and Open Division Students
The Deluxe subscription is our recommendation for Intermediate, Advanced, Pre-Professional and Open Division students.  For as little as $45, the subscription package includes tickets to two repertoire performances – Director’s Choice and Innovative Works. Both performances showcase a variety of contemporary choreographers and dance styles. The package also includes two new story ballets: Dangerous Liaisons, with inventive choreography by Sasha Janes, and Sleeping Beauty, considered the essence of classical ballet.
