The North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance offers a variety of opportunities for the serious dance student to train at the pre-professional level. Students may audition at any time during the year for any of the following programs either by video, at one of the summer intensive audition sites around the country or in person at our studios in Charlotte. The School of Dance offers a Pre-Professional Program, Conservatory Program and a Professional Training Certificate with UNC Charlotte.
Master Classes
The "Master Classes with Master Teachers" series offers the serious dance student the opportunity to glean new insights into their training from world-renowned master teachers. Past Master Class teachers have included dance luminaries such as: Alonzo King, John Clifford, Graham Lustig, Connie Dinapoli, Susan Hendl, Katrina Killian and our own Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride. Pilates-based body conditioning workshops have also been offered in conjunction with Master Classes at the School. |
