North Carolina Dance Theatre 2 is a group of young professional artists affiliated with North Carolina Dance Theatre. These dancers offer public presentations of their own repertoire as well as appear in performances with the main company.
NC Dance Theatre 2 dancers perform an eclectic mix of choreography including some of their own work. They also appear in lecture demonstrations and residencies at public and private schools.
In July 2009 the National Endowment for the Arts awarded a $50,000 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant to NC Dance Theatre to support NC Dance Theatre 2.
