Registration for the 2011-2012 School Year can be completed online. Clicking on the link below will open the online registration wizard in a new window. Please be sure to read the important information below regarding tuition calculation and payment plan options before beginning online registration. A credit card is required in order to complete online registration. You will receive confirmation by email once your registration has been processed.

Tuition Calculator
To calculate the total amount that will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the online registration process, follow the steps below:

1. Add up annual fees.

  • Each student pays Registration Fee ($50) and Parent Guild Enrichment Fund Fee ($20).
  • Students enrolled in Children’s division, Intermediate division, or Pre-Professional division pay $50 Spring Performance Fee. Early Dance division students pay $20 Spring Performance Fee.
  • Students participating in Student Ensembles pay annual dues (Student Ensemble 3 = $200, Student Ensemble 4 = $250, Repertory Ensemble = $300).

2. Select a tuition payment option: Monthly, Semi-Annual, or Annual. See additional details on tuition payment options below.

3. Calculate tuition due with reigistration. Monthly tuition cost for each class is listed on division pages.

  • Monthly – First month’s tuition is due with registration
  • Semi-Annual – Multiply monthly tuition by 4.5; apply 5% discount
  • Annual – Multiply monthly tuition by 9; apply 10% discount

4. Add annual fees to tuition due with registration to calculate grand total that will be charged to your credit card at the time of registration.


Tuition Payment Options
North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance families may choose one of the three tuition payment options below.

Monthly Payment

  • Tuition for the 2011-2012 School Year paid in nine equal payments.
  • First month’s tuition due with registration.
  • Credit card will charged automatically on the first of each month for eight additional payments, beginning September 1, 2011 and ending April 1, 2012.
  • A declined credit card fee of $15 will apply to any monthly payment that is declined on the first day of the month for any reason. Please contact the School immediately if your credit card number or expiration date changes. Monthly payments that are not made by the fifth day of the month will be subject to an additional late fee of $5 per day. A student will not be allowed to participate in classes on the Monday following a missed monthly tuition payment until this payment has been made.
  • No portion of monthly tuition will be refunded in the event of absence, injury, relocation, decision to withdraw, or dismissal from the School. Please take this into consideration when selecting your tuition payment option.

Semi-Annual Payment

  • Tuition for the 2011-2012 School Year paid in two equal payments.
  • To calculate your semi-annual tuition payment, multiply monthly tuition amount by 4.5, then apply a 5% discount.
  • First payment due with registration; second payment due by December 15, 2011. A late fee of $5 per day will be applied to any payments not received by this date.
  • No portion of semi-annual tuition will be refunded in the event of absence, injury, relocation, decision to withdraw, or dismissal from the School. Please take this into consideration when selecting your tuition payment option.

Annual Payment

  • Tuition for the 2011-2012 School Year paid in full at time of registration.
  • To calculate your annual tuition payment, multiply monthly tuition amount by 9, then apply a 10% discount.
  • No portion of annual tuition will be refunded in the event of absence, injury, relocation, decision to withdraw, or dismissal from the School. Please take this into consideration when selecting your tuition payment option.
