North Carolina Dance Theatre
North Carolina Dance Theatre annually holds open auditions for the Company and North Carolina Dance Theatre 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This audition is intended for classically trained dancers who have performing experience with a professional company.

2010-2011 Season Auditions
On the day of the audition, applicants should bring:

• A $20 audition fee (cash or check made payable to North Carolina Dance Theatre)
• Resume
• Headshot and full body dance photo
• Proper ballet attire required, including pointe shoes for women

Video Auditions
If you are unable to attend open auditions we do accept video auditions. Make sure your video includes a brief introduction of yourself, a classical variation and contemporary work (this can be filmed improvisation in the studio). Please do not include performance footage. In addition, send your resume, a headshot, a full body dance photo and $20 audition fee.

Company Class Auditions
Company class auditions are by invitation only. If you would like to be considered for a company class audition please send a video that includes a brief introduction of yourself, a classical variation and contemporary work along with your resume, a headshot, and a full body dance photo to the above address. Please do not include performance footage.
