BEGINNING BALLET
Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet while experiencing the joy of movement and creative expression inherent to this art form.

BEGINNING MODERN
Class includes modern dance basics, essential positions and movement styles.  Students explore spatial relationships and rhythmic patterns. Class concentrates on proper body alignment, use of breath, core strength and development of a beginning technical vocabulary.

BEGINNING JAZZ                    
Students learn the basics of classical and contemporary jazz technique while improving rhythm, motor skills, and flexibility. Class set to upbeat familiar music.

BEGINNING TAP
Class focuses on developing solid tap technique and skills, including coordination, body alignment and rhythm.  Class focuses on technique, combinations and choreography.

HIP-HOP - Ages 14 - Adult
Students experience a fusion of movement styles such as funk, pop, west coast and African dance set to popular music.

AFRO-CARIBBEAN - Ages 14 - Adult
Class is rooted in the technique of legendary African-American dance pioneer Katherine Dunham, and fuses Afro-Caribbean folk movements and rhythms with modern dance.

For students who are at an intermediate level in their ballet training.

Recommended for students interested in pursuing tap beyond the elemental level. Students develop skills with more complicated tap rhythms and movements.
